THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF HAIR

Brittle, dry hair: Brittle hair can be recognized by the fact that the outer cuticle of the hair is rough and attached. The hair is brittle to the touch, difficult to comb and lacks shine. This occurs when the sebaceous glands in the scalp no longer release enough oil into the lengths and ends of the hair.

Greasy hair: Greasy hair is a reaction of the sebaceous glands, which produce too much oil. The worst case is that the sebum suffocates the hair root, which can lead to accelerated hair loss or dandruff. The reasons can be hereditary predisposition, unhealthy diet, but also hormonal changes or stress. Tips: Dry shampoo or a scalp scrub with healing clay.

Fine hair: Fine hair is often silky and barely noticeable when rubbed between fingers. After washing, they dry very quickly on their own and usually lie flat. In fine hair, the diameter of each hair is very small, while fine hair refers to the number of hairs on the scalp. People with fine hair should make sure to use care products that do not weigh down the hair, but give it volume.

Split ends: Split ends depend on the stress on your hair. Due to dryness, the ends of the hair split. The more stressed the hair is, the more likely the ends are to separate. Fine hair, like long hair, is more sensitive and prone to split ends.
